Slint SC

Slint SC is the safety-critical subset of Slint, designed to be certifiable under ISO 26262 (automotive), IEC 61508 (industrial), and IEC 62304 (medical device software).

It provides a drastically reduced feature set compared to the full Slint framework, with an emphasis on auditability, bounded resource usage, and deterministic behavior.

This crate (slint-sc) is the runtime library. It’s no_std, has zero external dependencies, and doesn’t use dynamic memory allocation.

Status

Slint SC is an early prototype. The compiler mode exists but all language features are currently disabled and will be unlocked incrementally.

Color

An RGBA color, as held by properties of the color type.

Point

A position in the window, in pixels: the origin is the top-left corner of the window, x grows to the right, and y grows downwards.

Size

The size of a window, in pixels.

Error returned by the generated render functions.

TouchEvent

A touch of the display, delivered to the generated dispatch_touch_event.
